You'll be picked up at your Paris hotel in a minivan and transferred to the tour office to board your motorcoach tour. Travel through Normandy to Caen by the motorway. Stop for a commented visit, film and lunch at the Memorial-Peace Museum of Caen. See the landing beaches - this part of the Norman coast, once defended by the Atlantic Wall, was heroically pierced by the Allies during the landing.
Also stop at Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach. Saint-Laurent - visit of about one hour at the American Cemetery, where 9,386 Americans rest, guarded by the Spirit of the American Youth, a 22 foot-high bronze figure.
Your last stop is at Arromanches, former artificial harbor during the Landing of Normandy, today a lovely summer resort. The motorcoach returns to the Paris tour office, where you will be transferred to a minivan for drop-off at your Paris hotel.
